NIGERIA - Another ritualists’ den discovered in Lagos, 4 suspects nabbed

Barely 48 hours after a ritualists’ den was discovered at Obadeyi Bus Stop, along the Lagos-Abeokuta expressway, another one has been uncovered at the Ile Zik area of Ikeja, inward Agege, in what looked like the Clifford Orji saga. Four suspects have been arrested in connection with it.
Daily Sun gathered that, following the Obadeyi incident, residents and shop owners around Awori Bus Stop, close to Ijaiye, along the Lagos-Abeokuta road, Ile Zik, started examining the activities of a man who had been living in the area as a lunatic. The curious residents decided to check out the shanty the man lived in.
It was gathered that as one of the residents and shop owners in the area summoned courage to investigate and tried to enter the shanty but the man pretending to have mental problem blocked them. With the support of others, the supposed lunatic was shoved aside, paving way for the party to enter the shanty and conduct a search.
Inside the shanty, made up of iron rods and polythene sheets,  a human heart and intestines were discovered in a bag, as well as fresh soup and some wraps of fufu.
Following this strange discovery, the search party apprehended the lunatic, who confessed that he was not the only person involved. The suspect promised to take the team to where his accomplices were.
Daily Sun gathered that the man took the team to another shanty nearby that was similar to his own, where three other suspects were arrested.
In the shanties, also built with iron bars and covered with polythene, dry bones and decaying intestines were found in a black bag.
On interrogation, one of the suspects confessed that he and his accomplices operated at night, targeting women and men whose vehicles broke down.
He revealed that when his team overpowered victims, they took them to an underground concrete soak-away, with a slab, where they were killed and dismembered.
Having arrested the four suspects, the police were invited and their prompt arrival saved the suspects from being lynched.
Some years ago, Clifford Orji, a man pretending to be a lunatic at the Toyota Bus Stop, under the flyover leading to Murtala Muhammed International Airport Road, was discovered to be involved in human parts trade.
At Orji’s abode, under the bridge, human parts were discovered, leading to his arrested and prosecution. He eventually died in prison.
