Position Summary
The Senior Online Marketing Manager is responsible for the strategic planning, implementation and analysis of all SEM, SEO, Display Media and online partnership channels. This position will be tasked with hitting key performance metrics related to the overall management of these critical acquisition channels for The ideal candidate will understand how to balance these channels effectively in order to maximize combined revenue growth within an acceptable CPA range.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned by supervisor or management.
  • Develop the strategic plan and implementation tactics for Display Media, SEM and partnership marketing channels
  • Execute marketing campaigns from start to finish (landing page setup, tracking, reporting, analysis, optimization)
  • Meet /exceed related goals based on key performance metrics around orders, revenue growth and overall CPA
  • Manage the Display Media and SEM budgets as it relates to execution of all programs
  • Negotiate both monthly and one day buys within the Display Media channel down to profitable rates
  • Assist in the development of conversion improvement tactics included but not limited to sales funnel optimization, home page and navigation improvements and landing page recommendations.
  • Monitor, track, and report on organic search metrics, including trend analysis.
  • Provide support for search engine optimization recommendations to use a key revenue driver
  • Collaborate with copywriters and producers to optimize copy and landing pages
  • Assist in Keyword discovery, selection and expansion
  • Research and analyze competitor optimization campaigns
  • Identify internal link optimization
  • SEO technical analysis and evaluation
  • Stay up to date on the latest industry developments
  • Manage all third party vendor/partner relationships with an eye on building best practices and utilizing third party capabilities to their fullest extent
  • Continual monitoring of marketing campaigns to analyze effectiveness and adjust as needed to meet goals
  • Continual testing into new channels/categories such as mobile, paid social media, DSP platforms, pay per call, etc.
Qualifications (include Education and specific Experience)
  • BBA required, MBA a bonus
  • Experience in DoubleClick, Omniture, Google Adwords, MSN Adcenter
  • 3 5 years of proven success driving internet marketing campaigns in an ecommerce or subscription based environment within a defined CPA range
  • Ability to analyze, organize and integrate large amounts of complex, disparate information into clear concise presentations and plans
  • Entrepreneurial personality with a bias for action
  • High enthusiasm, creativity and desire to work on an innovative team
  • Skilled at Excel, Powerpoint knowledge a bonus
  • Very strong analytical, communication, negotiation, and general business skills required
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of the Internet, E-mail, Excel Spreadsheet, and Word Processing.
