Job Description

As an Academic Operations Manager in a Kids and Teens school you are fully responsible for providing high academic management standards in EF Centres in Russia, improving production and school performance, supporting schools both on and off site and developing new projects.
You should be pro-active, goal-oriented and able to deliver effective training and workshops, constantly helping to improve the academic quality of EF Centres and lead academic teams to new achievements.
Your responsibilities will include
  • Constant improvement of the academic quality of EF Centres
  • Directors of Studies support, effective training sessions and workshops
  • Establishing clear goals and priorities for the academic staff
  • Supporting Directors of Studies and providing guidance on achieving production targets
  • Lesson observations and staff development
  • Recognising talent and developing star-performers to more senior academic positions
  • Customer communication and conflict resolution
  • Participating in and monitoring academic projects
  • Monitoring and managing KPI (Key Performance Indicators)

  • Pro-active in all areas of responsibility
  • Highly motivated and well-organized
  • Able to handle difficult situations positively
  • Professional in appearance, dress and manner
  • Flexible in approaches to work based on ongoing experience and local conditions
  • Able to manage people and processes effectively

Qualifications:
  • University Degree
  • Advanced English competency (CAE or CPE certificates are an advantage)
  • Teaching Experience, minimum four years (kids and teens groups of various levels)
  • At least 1 year of similar working experience
  • TKT certificates/CELTA/DELTA/Trinity Diploma are an advantage
  • A thorough knowledge of EFL methodology
  • Leadership and conflict resolution skills
  • Confident user of modern technologies and business software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Chelsea complete £17.5million deal for defender Emerson Palmieri from Roma

Roma defender Emerson Palmieri has completed his £17.5million move to Chelsea. Palmieri posed for pictures with the shirt on Tuesday evening after completing his medical and penning a four-and-a-half year contract.
